A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the New Language for Log Analytics LIMITED

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Limited Capacity seats available

Log Analytics just got a new language, but don't panic! The change is totally worth it and allows you to analyze data collected in Log Analytics and Application Insights in ways that were previously impossible without external tools. So grab your towel and join us for a look at some of the more advanced features of the new language. We're not content with just ad hoc queries and basic data though. We're going to look at some methods for collecting data from alternate sources and then get creative in the way that we perform our analysis.

What you will learn:
  • How to assemble complicated queries and how to test query results
  • How to customize alerting for Log Analytics
  • When and how to use a union and when to use a join
  • How to collect data from alternate sources
