Leveraging and Building Wrappers for REST APIs with PowerShell LIMITED

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Description:
We often have to work in mixed environments and interact with systems we don’t control nor had a choice in choosing. And that often means there is no powershell module to interact with those systems. Thankfully many systems have a REST API, but more often than not there are no examples in PowerShell. This session will focus on building PowerShell to automate against these systems.

What you will learn:
  • Ideas for how to approach building modules to make calls to REST APIs
  • Approaches to figuring out authentication, this is often the biggest hurdle.
  • Some gotchas to be aware of to save your head from your desk!
  • Yes, this is all Linux friendly!
