Description:
Do you want to use configuration items with PowerShell to identify computers with a specific vulnerability? Maybe you need to configure a bunch of machine with some arcane settings. Perhaps some computers need a custom WiFi profile. In this session we will go over using signed PowerShell code in configuration items to detect, report on and remediate desired configurations states for client workstations.

What you will learn:
  • Code signing. Bypass-what?
  • Detection/Remediation scripts - how to properly leverage detection and remeidation in ConfigMgr
  • Reporting around CIs - what are some important tables, examples
  • Using multiple CIs to build collections for reporting/targeting/remediating - leveraging all the tools available in ConfigMgr to build collections and get a little more granular in your targeting of deployments
