Description:
Certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) provide the basis for security in our ever-shrinking, Internet connected world. Even with their importance though, most Windows and System Center administrators are afraid of and avoid PKI. Conceptually, neither are not very complicated and neither should be feared. This session will introduce foundational PKI concepts, how every administrator can easily deal with the certificates in their environment, and why PKI is not something to be feared. We'll also look at the pitfalls, traps, and headache inducing issues that do exist and how to avoid or resolve them.

What you will learn:
  • PKI is simple ... if you know what PKI is and does
  • Certificates are everywhere
  • PKI is your friend, PKI is all about Trust
