- Update and Recommendation feature in SCOM now supports third party MPs, enabling customers to discover and deploy the latest Management Packs from partners
- Linux log file monitoring significantly extends the scope of monitoring Linux workloads in SCOM
- Azure Service Map integration with SCOM allows the automatic visualization of server dependencies in SCOM, integrated with other monitoring information
- VMM now provides additional support for networking and storage with features like template based load balancer deployment and storage Quality of Service
- Customers can now secure their private cloud deployments with VMM using encrypted virtual networks and shielded Linux VMs.
- VMM and SCOM support Windows Server, version 1709 (aka RS3)
- Data protection manager provides faster backups and lowers storage costs for VMWare deployments
In this session, we will dive deeper into these capabilities, look at a few demos and what's on the roadmap for future releases.
