Description:
In this session Kim (aka @thewmiguy) and Tom will introduce you to WMI as used in ConfigMgr. Although knowledge of WMI has long not been considered crucial to be able to understand and work with ConfigMgr, having a thorough understanding and feeling of WMI and overall being comfortable with it is an incredible asset in this field. Disclaimer: This session will not cover the boring topic of WMI stability & fixing issues with it.

What you will learn:
  • Find hidden gems in WMI more easilly
  • Example on customizing ConfigMgr components without available UI
  • Use WMI to influence ConfigMgr & Client behavior in a ton of different ways
  • Implement ConfigMgr object lifecycle management example
