Manage Windows and Linux Environments Across On-Premises and Azure Environments
Limited Capacity filling up

Description:
Bring on premises and Azure VMs under consistent management using Azure. As you move workloads to the cloud, ensure these have the latest management capabilities enabled to deliver consistent control using update management, inventory, desired state control, change tracking, and hybrid workers in Azure Automation. If you are currently using System Center Configuration Manager for managing servers, see how you can build upon these investments while moving to cloud based management using the latest technologies.

What you will learn:
  • Get unified update compliance and scheduled deployments using update management in Azure Automation. See how to integrate with ConfigMgr while taking advantage of new capabilities only available from the cloud.
  • Get inventory of your on-premises and Azure VMs for Windows and Linux and how to use this information to troubleshoot issues and generate reports on software in usage across the organization.
  • Automate the configuration of machines with DSC during deployment to ensure compliance requirements and remove manual tasks required during VM provisioning.
  • Identify changes that are causing drift within your managed environment and generate alerts to proactively identify changes that can be resolved and moved into your change management system.
  • Give controlled access to VMs on-premises and in Azure using hybrid workers so you no longer need to remote into machines and maintain strict access compliance.
  • Learn about the roadmap for these features and how you can start to take advantage of these in your organization.
